What roles are we looking to fill?

Writer

The performance outcomes have already been set for the core content and each occupational specialism within the T level. Our job is to expand on each performance outcome and create the detail of what should be taught to ensure that the student has met the required standard. The writer’s role is to help us write that detail by drawing on their subject expertise and expanding the knowledge and skills related to each performance outcome. We prefer to have a few writers together in a room where we can discuss the meaning and detail behind each performance outcome and we can make decisions as a group there and then.

This can often take several days so the dates and timescales will be agreed before any commitment is made to the project. We pay stakeholders per day for their involvement as a writer plus all expenses. The venue is likely to be in the Newcastle area.

Reviewer

Once we have the draft content for each performance outcome we will send that to someone to review. This piece of work can be done remotely and the reviewer will receive a review checklist. This ensures we are checking particular criteria to a specified standard. The dates and timescales will be agreed before any commitment is made. Reviewers are payed a day rate for their involvement.
