Understanding the Level
All our qualifications – and indeed all accredited qualifications – have a Level. This Level is a guide to the overall difficulty of the units it contains. It also indicates what you will have to know, understand or be able to do to pass the qualification.
These qualifications are suitable for experienced workers who manage or take a lead role in a care setting, or work role.
At Levels 4 and 5 you should be able to identify and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to address broadly-defined, complex problems. It includes taking responsibility for planning and developing courses of action for yourself and others. You also need to understand different perspectives, approaches or schools of thought and the reasoning behind them.
