We’re also looking for Lead Independent End-Point Assessors to act as ‘sector experts’ and ensure a standardised, consistent approach to quality assurance, through monitoring and supporting their own team of Independent End-Point Assessors. The Lead Independent End-Point Assessors will also support the End-Point Assessment (EPA) Team and the Quality Assurance Team with the recruitment, selection and training and on-boarding of Independent End-Point Assessors.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Relevant assessor qualification
  • Occupational competency in relevant vocational sector, with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant occupational experience or professional qualification higher than the level of apprenticeship being assessed
  • At least 2 year’s assessing experience (5 years for Lead Independent End-Point Assessor)
  • An understanding of Ofqual requirements and any other regulators including industry bodies
  • Experience of producing clear, accurate and concise written reports
  • Current driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your area
  • Ideally, hold a recognised Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification (essential for Lead Independent End- Point Assessor)
  • Educated to GCSE Maths/English grade C and above (or equivalent qualification)
  • Where appropriate, enhanced DBS in place.

  • Awareness and visibility of NCFE’s EPA policies, procedures and regulations
  • Regular skype and webinar updates
  • Query management via a dedicated support team, accessible on telephone and email.
