Early Years Educator
CACHE is the leading sector specialist in Early Years Education. We know that our Centres, employers and learners are looking for the gold standard, recognised qualifications which will ensure the best training, professional standards and career prospects.
Learners completing a CACHE branded Early Years Educator qualification will have been trained to the highest of standards, equipping them with the best early years qualifications available.
These are now the must-have qualifications for all those wanting to work at Level 3 with children from birth to five years of age, and will provide the full and relevant status of being an Early Years Educator.
How we can help
We recently led the Save Our Early Years campaign which resulted in the Government reinstating Functional Skills as an alternative qualification for Level 3 Early Years Educators, outlined in the Early Years Workforce Strategy.
The GCSE-only policy significantly impacted recruitment in the sector and put the Government’s pledge to give 30 hours free childcare at risk. By reinstating Functional Skills, early years settings will be able to hire the high-quality practitioners they need, and allow staff to progress, and remain in the workforce.
We offer NCFE’s Functional Skills as part of our Apprenticeship offer, providing staff with the essential soft skills to enter to the early years setting.

Our Level 2 qualification is of the highest standard and provides a great stepping stone into any of our Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications.
