Calderdale College celebrates success of learners studying CACHE qualifications
Calderdale College have been offering CACHE qualifications for over 20 years, starting with Early Years qualifications and more recently, they have expanded their portfolio to include health / health and social care. The college now runs over 30 CACHE qualifications.
CACHE qualifications have been extremely popular at Calderdale College – with two cohorts running at the same time for several of the courses.
Joanna Donaldson, Teaching and Learning Manager, at Calderdale College said: “CACHE is fantastic to work with. From the qualification specifications and assessment criterion, to the learning resources provided, everything is very clear and extremely useful. The staff are supportive and willing to help with any query, no matter how small. I have recommended CACHE qualifications to other centres in the past and I will continue to do so.”
Upon completing the CACHE qualifications, learners from Calderdale College have went on to university or began their exciting career journey in their chosen field.
Joanna added: “The CACHE qualifications have allowed learners to gain practical skills and knowledge along with experience in their field, which has prepared them well for life after Calderdale College, either at university or in the workplace.”
Zain Ali, learner on Level 3 Technical Diploma in Child Care & Education (EYE), at Calderdale College said: “I have really enjoyed studying my CACHE qualifications. The variety of practical and theoretical learning makes the qualification really interesting and the breadth of areas it covers has provided me with a great basis of understanding to help me decide on my next steps. I’m now looking forward to further my study at University on a Primary Teaching Degree where I will be able apply the knowledge I’ve already gained through my CACHE qualification.”
