Aspiration Awards

Don't just imagine, make it happen

About the awards

Behind every success, there is aspiration.

Our Aspiration Awards are about honouring the success of young learners and we believe that success can look different for everyone. Whether that’s achieving a distinction through a new way of presenting work or a pass against all odds, we want you to help us recognise learners who have had the imagination to dream big and the determination to see it through.

Remember, that doesn’t always mean the highest marks or best Progress 8 score. It’s about innovation, trying your best or even overcoming hardship.

This year, alongside an overall ‘Learner of the Year’, we’ll also look to present awards for ‘Highly Commended – Against all Odds’ which recognises learners who overcome difficult personal circumstances to achieve success, and ‘Highly Commended – Doing Things Differently’, for those learners who can’t help but innovate, try new things and see things from a completely different angle.

We’re also opening up the categories to learners who have completed any NCFE or CACHE V Cert, Applied General or short PSHE or Employability qualifications whilst at school. See our terms and conditions for details.

Has the learner had a wider impact on their family, other learners or the way in which the qualification will be delivered in the future?

Has the learner shown improvement in the engagement with education as a whole since undertaking the qualification?
