Childminding
Level 3
This qualification is a joint initiative between CACHE and the National Childminding Association. It is aimed at home-based childcare practitioners and childminders, and outlines the necessary regulations and legislation necessary for those roles.
The Level 3 qualification will raise the professional standards of the practitioner and the quality of childcare offered. Candidates can complete the qualification in full, or on a unit-by-unit basis.
The qualification allows the candidate to work in an unsupervised capacity in a range of settings. It also means the candidate can progress to a related Level 4 qualification, or the NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development (NVQCCLD-L3).
