Who is the qualification aimed at?


People who would like to work as a qualified practitioner involved in preparing their setting for accredited quality assurance schemes or statutory inspections.


What are the entry requirements?


Learners must be at least 18 years of age and be experienced or qualified practitioner.



What does the qualification cover?


Professional development in quality assurance practices for example, establishing, improving and maintaining quality standards in children's services, managing the preparation required for statutory inspections, analysing their own and their organisation's training needs and developing appropriate learning programmes.


How is it Assessed?


By two written assignments.


Are practical placements required?


Learners are required to be employed or working as a volunteer in an appropriate setting with children and/or young people.


How long does the qualification take to complete?


60 guided learning hours.

CACHE Level 4 in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
