Who is the qualification aimed at?
Playworkers who are supervising other members of staff within playwork settings.
What are the entry requirements?
Learners must be at least 16 years old with either a Level 2 playwork qualification or have significant experience in playwork setting.
What does the qualification cover?
Practical, work-related tasks to demonstrate playwork competence based on the National Occupational Standard for Playwork at Level 3.
What age range is covered?
4 to 16 years.
How is it Assessed?
Direct observation within the workplace combined with a portfolio of additional evidence such as professional discussions and witness testimonies.
Are practical placements required?
Learners must already either be employed or in a practical placement for the whole period of the qualification.
How long does the qualification take to complete?
There are no set number of hours as it depends on the learner's ability to gather and log the required evidence.
