CACHE Level 2 qualifications provide a stepping stone to Level 3 qualifications. They show that you have a good knowledge and understanding and the ability to perform various well-defined tasks with some direction and guidance. They are intended for anyone working in a supervised role with children or young people in the following positions: - School Administrator

- Library Assistant
- IT Support Worker
- Learning Resource Assistant
- Caretaker
- Lunchtime Assistant
- Teaching Assistant
CACHE Level 2 Award and Certificate in Support Work in Schools
CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
CACHE Level 2 NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
CACHE Level 2 & 3 Award in Preparing to Support Learning (QCF)
Level 3
CACHE Level 3 qualifications are designed to provide the knowledge and understanding for candidates who wish to work in a supervisory position. They must have the ability to complete tasks and address complex problems. They are intended for anyone working in an unsupervised role with children or young people in the following positions: - School Administrator
- Receptionist
- Library Assistant
- IT Support Worker
- Learning Resource Assistant
- Caretaker
- Lunchtime Assistant
- Teaching Assistant
Successful Level 3 candidates then have the opportunity to progress to a related career path such as: - Teaching
