What do the qualifications cover?
This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed when supporting teaching and learning in a school. It also covers how to work with others to achieve shared objectives when supporting the learning of individual or groups of pupils
Who are they suitable for?
Anyone who is working with pupils on an individual basis or with groups under the supervision of a group leader. It is also for people who wish to work in this field.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be at least 16 years old and it is recommended that they have a GCSE or equivalent at C grade or above.
How are they assessed?
It will be assessed by your tutor by written assignments.
Do you need to be working to take the qualification?
Yes.
How long do they take to complete?
You can usually complete it in a year.
