• Key Stage 4 pupils in schools (14+) or colleges.
• 16-18 year olds in FE colleges, or with training providers.


• Mature learners in special circumstances.

There are no formal entry requirements.

What does the qualification cover?

Learning how to care for babies and toddlers.

What age range is covered?

Conception to 3 years 11 months.

How is it Assessed?

There are three assignments in a choice of formats.

Are practical placements required?

No.

How long does the qualification take to complete?

180 guided learning hours.
