Early Years Educator

Thank you for showing interest in a course leading to a nationally recognised CACHE branded qualification. On this area of our website you will find a great deal of information about our suite of Early Years Educator qualifications.

Learners completing a CACHE branded Early Years Educator qualification will have been trained to the highest of standards, equipping them with the best early years qualifications available. These are now the must-have qualifications for all those wanting to work at Level 3 with children from birth to five years of age, and will provide the full and relevant status of being an Early Years Educator.

Our Level 2 qualification is also of the highest standard, a great stepping stone into any of our Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications.

At Level 3 we offer three qualifications which are full and relevant:

Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator) - which carries 112 UCAS points – this is aimed at those studying full time;

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) –
which carries 32 UCAS - aimed at those with a job, and studying part time.

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) - which carries 168 UCAS points - aimed at those working or wishing to work in early years education and care. It is also suitable for those who wish to access higher education or enter the workforce as an Early Years Educator.

If you require DfE Performance points for 2018 then we now offer the Technical Level 3 Certificate and Technical Level 3 Diploma Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) and the Technical Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator).

We know that our Centres, employers and learners are looking for the gold standard, recognised qualifications which will ensure the best training, professional standards and career prospects. We have produced many such qualifications over the years, such as the NNEB and the Diploma in Child Care and Education. We see our new Early Years Educator qualifications as successors to these, continuing the high standards set by their predecessors: delivering excellence, expertise and rigour.

The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid can be added to a study programme to allow the learner on completion to gain not only their Early Years Educator qualification but also their Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid which settings require at least one member of staff to hold, this could assist in future recruitment opportunities.
