Understanding the Level

All our qualifications – and indeed all accredited qualifications – have a Level. This Level is a guide to the overall difficulty of the units it contains.

It also indicates what you will have to know, understand or be able to do to pass the qualification.

Entry Level and Level 1

These qualifications are great if you are just starting out. Although they don’t qualify you to work with children or young people, they do help you develop an understanding of what this might be like. They can also be great for developing the skills you may use in your day to day life.

At Entry Level you should be able to complete simple everyday tasks with help or guidance.

At Level 1 you should be able to use your knowledge and skills to complete day to day tasks with help or guidance.
