Health Apprenticeships are an exciting new development at CACHE, and we aim to have them open for registrations in early 2013.

Now is a great time to think about taking an Apprenticeship. There are more opportunities than ever before for those looking to work in the Health sector, and Apprenticeships in this area can lead to employment in a variety of settings upon completion.

As an apprentice you are paid as you learn. You will go through a structured training programme that teaches all aspects of working in Healthcare Support and Clinical Healthcare Support settings, working alongside experienced staff to learn the skills you need.

Our Centres will be able to offer Health Apprenticeships to anyone who is over 16, living in England and not in full-time education. As part of the Health Apprenticeship programmes, learners will take the qualifications shown below:

Level 2: Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Health (Clinical Healthcare Support)

Level 2     Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support (QCF)

Level 2      Award in Employment and Personal Learning Skills in Health (QCF)'s

Level 1     English and Mathematics Functional Skills 

Level 3: Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Health (Clinical Healthcare Support)
