Request for support – Level 3 Award in ICT in Early Years

We are delighted to announce that in March 2017, we will be launching the new Level 3 Award in ICT in Early Years. This qualification allows the learner to develop their skills in order to offer an integrated, holistic and inclusive approach to facilitate and use ICT efficiently in an early years setting.

Age: 16+

Sector: Early Years

Credits: 9

TQT: 86 hours

GL: 47 hours

Units: 2 units


The new Level 3 Award in ICT in Early Years will enable learners to have:


 - an understanding of how the key elements of ICT can be integrated into practice  to support children's learning

 - the skills to incorporate ICT into the early years' curriculum and facilitate ICT learning

 - the ICT skills needed for the role

 - the ability to maintain e-safety and a safe, healthy and inclusive environment in which children can learn.

 

For regulatory purposes, we require not only engagement with our Centres during development but also support, therefore if you are an FE college or Private Training Provider and are able to assist us with supplying a letter of support for this qualification, please email [email protected]  and we will be happy to supply a template for you to use or answer any questions.
